Job Description

NimbusNexus is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Backend Developer to support the development of our cloud platform’s core infrastructure. This role is ideal for early to mid-career developers with a strong foundation in Python who are eager to work on real-world backend systems and APIs in a modern, cloud-based environment. You will contribute to service development, integration, and performance improvements, working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative, growth-focused team.

Responsibilities

  • Backend Implementation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of backend components supporting cloud infrastructure and services.
  • API Development: Assist in building and refining RESTful APIs that facilitate platform interactions.
  • Service Integration: Support integration of internal and external services, ensuring reliable data exchange and communication across components.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Collaboration: Work with product, design, and frontend teams to align backend features with user and platform needs.
  • Learning & Growth: Continuously develop technical skills through hands-on experience and mentorship from senior team members.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in Python or backend development
  • Understanding of API development and integration (RESTful APIs preferred)
  • Basic familiarity with cloud technologies or infrastructure (OpenStack, AWS, GCP, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with Git
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced cloud platform team
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
